Salt Leaves on a Tree Picture

Make leaf impressions on a tree magically using drips of salt water
You will need:
  • Paint
  • Salt
  • Paper
  • Small round sponge
  • Paintbrush

Draw a really simple tree. Add cloud like leaves with a round sponge. Paint a blue sky. Before your picture dries, lightly sprinkle on some salt on the leaves of the tree. Magically, the salt will draw in the water from the paint, leaving channels and streaks of color that will look very much like leaf growth.
